对于去英国留学的小伙伴来说，一说到商科好像大家都会条件反射地想到曼大,不过今天要讲的三所学校里面并没有曼大,今天要讲的三所学校都是marketing专业为王的三所学校,课程设置超级赞!下面开始正式卖安利——1.伯明翰大学

1.1 Marketing MSc

https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/postgraduate/courses/taught/business/marketing.aspx官方要求"A good Honours degree (2:1 or higher) or postgraduate diploma from a UK university or equivalent.",伯明翰一共有四个marketing相关专业,marketing这个专业是不卡相关专业背景的,但伯明翰大学商学院会卡网排,一般来说卡150,对211以及网排前100院校的学生均分要求是80以上,对网排101~150以及上海理工大学、北京工商大学、华侨大学、南京财经大学、天津财经大学、广东外语外贸、江西财经、首都经济贸易大学、南审的均分要求是85分以上,另外伯明翰也认可211、985以及网排前150院校的附属独立学院,比如浙江大学城市学院这类院校,也是伯明翰商学院认可的,这类院校均分85以上也能申请伯明翰商学院的课程.

1.2 International Marketing MSc

1.3 Marketing Communications MSc

The degree must be in marketing, or a degree with at least two marketing modules. If not, at least two years full-time marketing work experience is required.",marketing communication这个专业对学生的专业背景就有要求了,如果不满足专业背景的要求的话,有两年全职工作经验也可以申请的,对网排和均分的要求同arketing.

1.4 Strategic Marketing and Consulting MSc

https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/postgraduate/courses/taught/business/strategic-marketing-consult.aspx伯明翰SMC这个专业的申请要求和marketing communication是一样的,卡专业背景,如果专业背景不符合要求,有两年全职工作经验也可以.SMC这个专业算是伯明翰商学院王牌中的王牌专业了,申请难度是这四个专业里面最大的,当然课程也是最好的,对网排和均分的要求同arketing.

1.5 课程特色

以上四个专业中,marketing专业致力于marketing本身,international marketing添加了全球化内容以及跨文化交流课程,marketing communications偏重于marketing与传媒、广告、PR的结合而SMC则专注于战略咨询;marketing与international marketing的学生只可以进行毕业论文研究.SMC学生进行与公司合作的毕业论文项目(Project),marketing communications选择了Consultancy Skills and Practice的学生,有机会选择Project,但是学院不一定会派发给你.

2.兰卡斯特大学

2.1 Marketing MSc

http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/postgraduate-courses/marketing-msc/官方要求"2:1 (UK hons) degree or equivalent in any subject, (except Marketing) One or two ‘taster’ Marketing modules may be acceptable",兰卡这个专业是专门开设给没有市场相关专业背景的学生的,不过虽然是接受任何专业背景的学生申请,但兰卡斯特的marketing一直都是他们家比较厉害的专业方向,所以要求也不低,一般均分是会卡85的,收得比较多的是国内网排前200的学生.另外需要特别说明一下的是……虽然兰卡的marketing很好,但是这个学校世界排名不高,在100开外了.

2.2 Advanced Marketing Management MSc

http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/postgraduate-courses/advanced-marketing-management-msc/官方要求"2:1 (UK hons) degree or equivalent in Marketing or related business subject."兰卡斯特这个Advanced Marketing Management专业是开设给有市场营销相关背景的学生申请的,申请难度要比marketing这个专业大不少,但有直接接触实战项目的机会.

2.3 课程特色

学校会在开学初举办一些team building的活动,增进大家的默契度,为以后team work打下基础;最终的毕业论文在5月到9月之间完成,学期考核的方式主要是以小组的形式为主group work,当然也有individual的essay和考试成绩,以及在实践方面对案例对研究分析与介绍;对于来自中国的留学生们来说,如果本身工作经验不是很丰富,那么这样的实践特别有益处,真刀真枪地做出些东西来,比什么都强;这个课程会控制班级人数不超过40人.

3.利兹大学

3.1 Corporate Communications, Marketing and Public Relations MAhttps://courses.leeds.ac.uk/g921/corporate-communications-marketing-and-public-relations-ma官方要求"A bachelor degree with a 2:1 (hons) in any subject.",利兹这个CCMPR专业是开设在利兹商学院下面的一个marketing和PR结合的专业,不卡本科专业背景,课程会比较偏商科,利兹商学院整体会卡内部list,不在list内的院校申请会很难,如果在list内的话,根据本科院校的不同均分会卡75和80两个档.

3.2 Advertising and Marketing MA

The course is most suitable for those who have a general business or non-business background, but we welcome applications from those who have previously studied marketing."AM这个专业和CCMPR那个专业一样,都是利兹商学院下面课程、师资都很好的专业,申请要求也一样,卡内部list,不在list内的院校申请会很难,如果在list内的话,根据本科院校的不同均分会卡75和80两个档.
